Nigella Lawson Uses Hypnotherapy to Lose Weight

Nigella Lawson uses hypnotherapy to lose weight.

When you want to lose weight, you need to see results.  You also want the results to remain.   Simple thoughts that are all in your mind when you set out.  So, do you follow the latest diet fad, take some pills, do what a friend is doing or think of some other way?

Nigella Lawson, one of the countries great foodies, turned to hypnotherapy to lose weight permanently.   A short course soon made her sylphlike and she lost 2 stone.  As a result she can still eat her favourite foods but in body manageable quantities.  So the fun of food remains.

Diets, whatever the basis, rely on changing your food habits.  The trouble is that when you reach your weight, probably you will revert to your old eating habits and then you will see the weight increase again.  Pills are the same – they lessen your appetite but then you give them a miss and you grow again!!  Drinks also have this handicap.

Lose weight for life

To lose weight you need to change your mindset.  All of us eat some foods that we know are naughty.  Hypnosis helps us identify and deal with this naughtiness.  The bonus is – the weight loss remains.

Hypnotherapy places you in to a relaxed state of consciousness.  Your mind is then ready to accept the changes that will stop you turning to the cookie jar and look more seriously at size 6 jeans.

The fretting cycle

A study by SodaStream recently found that females think about or talk about dieting for 21 minutes a day.  That means they fret about weight over 127 hours a year.  Over a lifetime it adds up to a whole year !!!  Men, mind you spend 18 minutes a day.  So in a week females fret about for 1.5 hours and men 1.25 hours.  Instead of fretting about it spend the time with Chris Fleet and benefit for life.

Fretting about brings on stress.  But that’s another story.
